    Additional Location(s) or Information: Job Category: ServicesLevel of Experience: Experienced - Manager Requisition #: R1007042 Description: Job title : Operations/Services Manager Job profile Summary: The Operations/Services Manager is responsible for managing revenue generating customer engagements, ensuring profit margins are achieved. He/she is responsible for delivering the project on time and within budget. The key focus is on customer management and for ensuring the stability of the customer operations. They must direct a technical team and the customer to provide agreed upon deliverables within the identified timeline. OMs have significant direct customer interface and are responsible for customer satisfaction levels. OMs must be self starters and possess decision making abilities. They must be leaders and possess excellent communication skills. OMs are required to perform extensive customer and project documentation and participate in regular reviews with the Senior Customer engagement team. They must adhere to PMI/ITIL Practices. Operations/Service Manager creates a subscription service schedule and plan with financial, resource and material requirements. Other responsibilities include: Develops and presents proposals and final agreements. Work with the relevant Technical teams and provide Assurance Services to the customer such as incident management support, Root cause analysis etc. Provides leadership to Team including engineers, vendors, partners or subcontractors. Manages the project from start to completion including the resolution of escalated project issues. Accountable for the Ensuring the Services Budgeted Margins are met. Presents service business value to customers for new or existing business, Create deep relationships in customer Account. Influences the customer in the assessment, planning and management of related network projects. Works with the Service Management Community to further develop the role, processes and operations. Typically requires MBA/Project management degree or equivalent plus 10+ years related experience in Data center domain ( Cisco Data center Experience will be a plus). Required skills: Project/Program Management experience in the deployment of leading edge technologies to customers in a highly complex commercial environment. Has exposure to Data center domain and knowledge of Data center practices in ITES Domain. Has professional project management training credentials (PMI). Has strong knowledge of Data center, Compute and Storage used in this domain. Application knowledge will be a big plus. Has demonstrated clear leadership skills and experience working with large project teams and strategic account teams. Professional PM certification , ESi, PMP or equivalent. Has demonstrated a good understanding of the legal issues with contracts. Has demonstrated advanced presentation skills. Understands the organization, aims and processes.
